About
Velin takes its name from the French word for vellum — the finest parchment paper, developed in 18th-century France for documents that needed to last. Vélin was used for royal charters, legal records, and printed works that mattered. It did not fade. Centuries later, the same documents are still legible.
Velin (the product) brings that durability to digital deletion evidence. Compliance teams use Velin to produce auditor-ready packs that prove what was deleted, what was retained under legal exception, and what is awaiting backup rotation — each pack signed, chain-anchored, and independently verifiable.
