Refund Policy

1. Who processes your payment
Velin’s subscriptions are sold and processed by Paddle, our reseller and merchant of record. Paddle handles billing, invoicing, and refunds on our behalf. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle’s Buyer Terms (paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms).
2. 14-day refund on first purchase
If you are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your first paid subscription purchase of a given plan. Contact us at hello@usevelin.com (or request via Paddle) within that window and we will arrange the refund through Paddle.
3. Renewals and ongoing subscriptions
- Renewal payments (the automatic monthly or annual charge after your first term) are generally non-refundable, because you can cancel at any time before a renewal to avoid the next charge, and because you retain access to your plan until the end of each paid period.
- If you cancel mid-term, your subscription remains active until the end of the current paid period; we do not provide pro-rata refunds for the unused remainder, unless required by law.
- Annual plans: the 14-day first-purchase window in §2 applies. After that window, annual fees are non-refundable except as required by law or at our discretion.
4. Discretionary refunds
Outside the cases above, refunds are at our discretion. We may consider a refund for issues such as a sustained service failure attributable to us. Contact hello@usevelin.com and we will review in good faith.
5. How to request a refund
Email hello@usevelin.com with your account email and the order/receipt reference from Paddle. We aim to respond within 5 business days and, where approved, Paddle will process the refund to your original payment method (timing depends on your bank/card provider).
6. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection law. Where mandatory consumer rights apply to your purchase, those rights prevail over this policy. (Note: subscriptions to Velin are typically for business use, where some consumer-specific rights may not apply.)
7. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first at hello@usevelin.com — we can usually resolve it faster than a bank dispute. Chargebacks are handled through Paddle.
