Pricing
Velin produces auditor-ready evidence that data was deleted. It does not delete the data for you and holds no credentials to your systems — you run the deletion, Velin records it, hashes it, and signs it into a verifiable pack. Pricing is per workspace and scales with the frameworks you map and the number of deletion cases you run a year. Every tier produces the same signed, independently verifiable evidence.

- Do you delete our data?
- No — and that is deliberate. Velin holds no credentials to your systems and never performs deletions. You run the deletion in your own tools; Velin records what you did, content-hashes the evidence, and signs it into a tamper-evident pack. Keeping the destructive action in your hands is the design: we attest to your deletions, we do not carry them out.
- Where is our data hosted?
- In the EU — Frankfurt (eu-central-1), on EU-hosted infrastructure. We do not use US regions. The current list of sub-processors is at /legal/sub-processors.
- Can our auditor verify a pack without a Velin account?
- Yes. Every pack is signed with a published Ed25519 key and verifies with no account: run `npx @usevelin/verify` on the file, drop it into the /verify page in a browser, or wire the verifier into your CI. Verification checks the signature and the hash chain against our public keys.
- What happens to our evidence packs if we cancel?
- Your packs keep working. Verification depends only on the open-source verifier and our published public keys — not on your subscription, and not on Velin staying in business. If you cancel, your workspace becomes read-only: you can still view and export everything you have already produced, and every pack you have exported stays independently verifiable indefinitely.
